*NEW* Make-a-Fairy House - Saturday, May 3rd, 11:00am - 1:30pm
For the first time, Hands On Pottery presents Make a Hand-built Fairy House This one-night workshop at Hands On Pottery is a great way to experience what it’s like to create something out of clay using the technique called “slab building”.
You will learn how to make your ceramic fairy house out of slabs of clay in one session! We will guide you through the process – using templates and textures to create your very own hanging fairy house - the perfect whimsical addition your garden, lighting tea lights, or burning incense.
Once you’ve finished making your fairy house you will choose the colour of glaze and our team will complete the glazing and firing process. Your finished handmade ceramic fairy house will be ready within 3-4 weeks. (We’ll email you when it’s ready.) *the picture for this class listing is unglazed clay - your fairy house will be glazed, glossy, & colourful!
Please note that this is a hand-building class and does not involve using a potter’s wheel. You can sign up for one-night wheel workshops here!
All attendee’s must be 16+.
If you are a group of 5 or more, please contact us about booking a private event.
