*NEW* Make-a-Variety Vessel - Saturday, June 28th, 2:00pm-5:00pm
For the first time, Hands On Pottery presents Make a Hand-built Variety Vessel!
What is a ‘Variety Vessel’? It is a segmented dish that you chose the purpose, shape, size, and design of!
Some examples include:
Jewelry Dish
Essentials Catchall
Bathroom Organizer
Succulent Planter
Trinket Tray
Multi-Level Vase
Utensil Holder
Exercise your creative muscles and build something that is truly your own!
You will learn how to make your ceramic Variety Vessel out of geometric tubes of clay in one session! We will guide you through the process – crating your own templated plan, then using your blueprint to create your very own segmented vessel - suited to whatever use you may see fit!
Once you’ve finished making your Variety Vessel you will choose the colour of glaze and our team will complete the glazing and firing process. Your finished handmade ceramic Variety Vessel will be ready within 3-4 weeks. (We’ll email you when it’s ready.) *the picture for this class listing is unglazed clay - your Variety Vessel will be glazed, glossy, & colourful!
Please note that this is a hand-building class and does not involve using a potter’s wheel. You can sign up for one-night wheel workshops here!
All attendee’s must be 16+.
If you are a group of 5 or more, please contact us about booking a private event.

Covid Protocols
We have transitioned away from a mandatory mask policy. Although we are not requiring masks in our studio at this time, should this change, we may require that masks be worn while at the studio.
Given the close proximity and nature of teaching pottery, we will do what we feel is best to keep our staff safe while they are at work. We appreciate your understanding!
