Make a Ceramic Vase – January 17th, 2026– 2:30pm - 5:00pm
Hands On Pottery presents Make a Ceramic Vase! This one-night workshop at Hands On Pottery is a great way to experience what it’s like to create something out of clay using the technique called “coil-building” or making a “coil-pot”.
You will learn how to make your ceramic vase out of coils in one night! We will guide you through the process – transforming long “noodles” of clay into your very own vase.
Once you’ve finished making your vase, you will choose the colour of glaze and our team will complete the glazing and firing process. Your finished handmade ceramic vase will be ready within 3-4 weeks. (We’ll email you when it’s ready.)
Please note that this is a hand-building class and does not involve using a potter’s wheel. You can sign up for one-night wheel workshops here!
All attendee’s must be 16+.
If you are a group of 5 or more, please contact us about booking a private event.

If you are exhibiting signs of being sick, please refrain from coming to your class – you may be asked to wear a mask if you are coughing, sneezing or have a runny nose.
We appreciate your understanding.
