Make-a-Candle Jar - November 23rd, 2026 | 6:15-9:15 (Candle wax Included!)

Make-a-Candle Jar - November 23rd, 2026 | 6:15-9:15 (Candle wax Included!)
Hands On Pottery presents Make-a-Candle Jar! This one-session workshop at Hands On Pottery is a great way to experience what it’s like to create something using hand-building techniques, and create the candle of your dreams!
We will guide you through the process – hand-building techniques to pinch and sculpt the perfect candle vessel. Included in this workshop is one small candle jar that fills approximately 200ml of wax. Wax included!
Thinking of making more for gifts? Make a maximum of 2 extra candle jars for $20 each! Once you’ve finished building your masterpieces, you will choose glaze colours and our team will do the rest.
When your pieces are out of the kiln, we will fill your candle jars with scented or unscented wax. You will receive a candle in the pot you made, ready to keep you cozy this season! Once the candle is finished, your pots can serve as cups, bowls, vases, or as a perfect vessel to keep re-filling with new candle scents.
Your finished handmade candles will be ready in 3-4 weeks. We will do our best to have them ready as early as possible, but we guarantee pick-up by December 21st, just in time for the holidays! (We’ll email you when they are ready)
Please note that this is a hand-building class and does not involve using a potter’s wheel. You can sign up for one-night wheel workshops here!
Ages 12 and up are welcome! All attendees under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Prices are PER PERSON – $89 each
Please book one spot per person attending.
