Family Day Play with Clay Hand-building! - Monday February 16th - 10:00am-11:30am
Join us for our Family Day Play with Clay! This one-session hand-building workshops at Hands On Pottery is the ideal way to share the experience of what it’s like to create something out of clay with your family.
You will learn the hand-building technique of pinching, which you will use to create whatever your heart desires - sculptures, bowls, soap dishes, cups, creatures and more!
We will show you how to transform lumps of clay into “pinched” masterpieces - once you’ve finished making your pottery, you can choose the colour of glaze and our team will complete the process. You’ll have your finished handmade pieces within 3-4 weeks, once we’ve glazed and fired them in the kiln!
Please note that this is a hand-building class and does not involve using a potter’s wheel. You can sign up for one-session family wheel workshops here!
This workshop is friendly for all ages! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
